Additional Dental Services That May Be Provided During Your Appointment
Once a year, your hygienist will take digital X-rays of your teeth and jawbone. These X-rays will help us detect issues like cavities, bone recession, impacted teeth, and more. Your dentist will also check your bite and jaw alignment.
Not every cleaning will end with a fluoride treatment. However, if you’re a child or an adult who’s prone to cavities, your hygienist may recommend a foamy gel or a fluoride varnish to act as a protectant to fight decay between cleanings.
